Half Day.... What else to do.. Play in the rain!

Today was one of those days when your schedule is interrupted and you have to be that mom who allows life to just happen and not freak out about it.  The kids school day was only a half day today.  HOME BY 11am!!!
Homework is done early and lunch is made and eaten by 12.  Then we have no TV during the week rule, so now what?  Okay, so walk the Dog around the block a few dozen times...  HAHA  Yes the dog is no more exhausted than the kids.  Coloring,  um no that is too quite and inside.  So lets play outside.  It begins to sprinkle.  Then it begins to pour.

You look out the window into the back yard, and every beach umbrella you have is up and the patio furniture is no being used as a fort, and the water guns are out and full.  Lets play in the rain.  I waited and minute and thought, "maybe I should bring them in", Nope!!  They were laughing uncontrollably and having the best time.  Then only one hiding from the rain was the Dog, hahahaha!!

Let kids be kids.  Let kids get dirty and play in the rain once in a while.  Moms, we all need a half day to watch the kids be creative and just love life.

If I had a nickel?

For every time someone commented about .............  If I had a nickel I would be rich.  Hmmm  Lets put that into perspective.  If I had a nickel every time someone asked me my age...  Well that is about once a month, so that would be 12 times a year.  5 cent times 12...  60 cent a year,  times 36 years...  ummmm   not rich yet.  Ok ok ok, maybe there are some who get asked other questions more often.  What about How are you this morning?  That happens at least once a day, times 365 days a year, times 5 cent every time..  365 x 5 = 18.25 times 36 years ....$657.00  ummm, nope still not rich.

If I had a positive response and act of appreciation every time someone asked me about my day, I would be rich!  That is Priceless!  Showing Love and common courtesy to those around you daily, even when we don't feel like it is something you can't put a price on.  There are so many ways to try to find money, gamble for money, work for money, make your own money, and become a successful human.  At what point do we reach success, really?  Even when we get to the top of the ladder we are climbing, and we have the perfect house, car, and kids; are we at the top of that success yet?

I would argue that if we have success of any kind and have no faith, than we have nothing.

If I had a deeper faith every time someone said good morning, I would be Rich beyond measure!

Success with out faith is nothing.  Faith is Success.
